2. WR Lance Moore (2015)

Moore is best-remembered as a New Orleans Saint, with a few productive campaigns over eight seasons there (2006-2013) catching passes from Drew Brees. After spending the 2014 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was cut by them in 2015 and landed in Detroit as a free agent for what wound up being his final NFL season. He briefly signed with the Atlanta Falcons in 2016 before calling it a career.

Moore played 14 games (eight starts) for the Lions in 2015, with 29 receptions for 337 yards and four touchdowns. It’s hard to tab what expectations should have been for him, since he was never a top-end wide receiver and was needed to fill the No. 3 wide receiver role behind Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Running back Theo Riddick also added 80 receptions out of the backfield.

A small, undrafted receiver out of a MAC school (Toledo) who was allocated to NFL Europe when that was a thing, Moore playing 10 NFL seasons has to be noted as a nice accomplishment. It’s just very easy to forget he played for the Lions.
