4. K Garo Yepremian
Yepremian is best remembered as the Miami Dolphins’ kicker in the 1970s, during which he won two Super Bowl rings and had an infamous moment in the big game.
But Yepremian actually started his career with the Lions, where he went 15-for-28 on field goals and 33-for-34 in extra points over 17 games in two seasons (1966-1967).
3. DE Dwight Freeney
After an excellent run with the Indianapolis Colts from 2002-2012, Freeney became well-traveled as his career wound down. He was waived by the Seattle Seahawks in the middle of what wound up being his final season in 2017, and the Lions claimed him.
Freeney played five games for the Lions, without a sack or even tackle over 126 total snaps. He was clearly done at that point, and he has the distinction of having played his last NFL games in a Lions’ uniform.
