Green Bay Packers

Running Backs: Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon
Wide Receivers: Allen Lazard, Christian Watson, Sammy Watkins, Randall Cobb, Romeo Doubs
Tight End: Robert Tonyan

This group was definitely the group that took the biggest step back this offseason.

Green Bay would have had an easy case for the No. 1 spot among skill groups in the NFC North if it wouldn’t have lost receiver Davante Adams to a trade request this offseason. In addition to that, they lost their No. 2 receiver, Marques Valdez-Scantling, in free agency. So their current best receiver is their No. 3 receiver from last year’s team (Lazard). They did add the injury-plagued Watkins in free agency before drafting Watson (second round) and Doubs (fourth round). But that’s a far cry from the group they had last year. It’s a good thing they have one of the best quarterbacks in the league, as they’re trying to fill the void left by Adams with volume.

Jones and Dillion are a formidable running back pair, and they essentially split carries at this point. Jones is a dual threat, while Dillon is the power back but he shouldn’t be pigeonholed as strickly that. Throw in the returning Tonyan at tight end, and things aren’t so bad for the Packers. They just come in No. 3 in this ranking.
