4. DT Ndamukong Suh

2021 Team: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Suh is getting up in age (35). But he is still very good, with six sacks in each of the last two seasons with Tampa Bay, at least seven tackles for loss in three straight seasons as a Buccaneer and at least 12 quarterback hits in every year since 2012. He also doesn’t miss games, having missed zero since his second season in the league (when he played 14 games in 2011 with the Lions).

Suh will surely like to chase another ring as a market takes shape for his services. That naturally narrows said market, but someone will sign him before too long.

3. OLB Kyle Van Noy

2021 Team: New England Patriots

After a one-year detour with the Miami Dolphins, Van Noy landed back with the New England Patriots last season after being cut. After posting 66 total tackles and five sacks over 16 games, the Patriots let him go a week before free agency started. Two straight disappointing seasons, and turning 32 years old soon (March 26), has kept him available into the second wave of free agency.

That said, Van Noy, a second-round pick by the Lions out of BYU in 2014, still seems to have something to offer as a versatile linebacker and a veteran leader. He just shouldn’t be playing 800 snaps per season anymore. A contending team or two should come calling at some point.
