Seventh Round

Woods was a standout during the week at the East-West Shrine Bowl, finishing with a touchdown catch in the game. He’s 6-foot-6 (or 6-foot-) and in the 260-pound range, but he showed polished route running moves befitting a smaller player.

The seventh round means taking the best player available. Woods may not actually last this long come April, but dropping here invites visions of he and T.J. Hockenson in two-tight end sets.

McCollum is another big corner (6-foot-2) who got a showcase opportunity at the Senior Bowl. He’s a fluid mover for a man that size, and he showed he belonged against better competition down in Mobile. Here in the final round, an easy pick for the Lions.
