HB/KR Jason Huntley

It’s no secret the Lions need to find a punt and kick returner before the season starts. Perhaps a reunion with running back Jason Huntley could help them out. It’s an option to keep in mind. The only issue would be that the Lions appear to be set at the running back position.

WR KhaDarel Hodge

Wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge was an undrafted free agent signing by the Los Angles Rams back in 2018. He’s shown flashes in the preseason with both the Rams and Cleveland Browns but has been stuck deep in the depth chart.

He’s an ideal fit for the Lions’ offense, being able to play both inside and outside. The connection with general manager Brad Holmes makes this a likely possibility.

OT Carson Green

Undrafted free agent Carson Green is an offensive tackle who’s going to be popular come waiver wire time. Green allowed one pressure on a total of 43 pass-blocking snaps. He also fared well as a run blocker.

With the surprise cut of right tackle Tyrell Crosby, the Lions’ offensive tackle depth is shot. Green makes a lot of sense here to be Detroit’s future swing tackle.

OG Michael Jordan

The former Ohio State guard and Cincinnati Bengals’ fourth draft pick is still very young and has starting potential. Ever since joining the Bengals in 2019, Jordan’s play has been up and down. However, he has promise to be a long-term starter as a plus pass protector.

Michael Jordan could be a project for the Detroit Lions. In the meantime, he’d provide depth. But in the future, we could see Jordan be a replacement for Halapoulivaati Vaitai.
