WR Equanimeous St. Brown

I know Lions fans would love to have another brother duo to root for. It would be a fun storyline, however, unlike his brother, Equanimous St. Brown might not be the type of receiver the Lions are looking for.

OLB Benardrick McKinney

Linebacker Benardrick McKinney would be an interesting pickup. He’s only 28 years old and still has a lot left in the tank. He can also play all four linebacker spots which give the Lions versatility.

It would provide another mentor for rookie linebacker Derrick Barnes. And at the very least insurance for any potential injuries. Although, I do think there will be better opportunities for McKinney elsewhere.

K Joey Slye

Third-year kicker Joey Slye has been tremendous from 49 yards and under during his career. As a rookie, he made eight for 11 field goals above 50-yards. However, last season he was only one for six in that category.

Nevertheless, his accuracy from under 49-yards makes him a better option than both kickers Randy Bullock and Zane Gonzalez.  Pairing him with all-pro punter Jack Fox, could give Detroit one of the top special teams unit in the NFL.

Another kicker to make note of is Jake Verity, who was an undrafted free agent for the Ravens. Verity had an impressive preseason, but with future Hall of Famer Justin Tucker ahead of him, he had no contest.
