William Jackson III, CB

Cornerback William Jackson III is a former first-round pick who’s never lived up to his potential as he’s only intercepted three passes in his career.

Yet, Pro Football Focus proclaimed that Jackson put up one of the best performances by a cornerback back in 2017. So the potential for greatness is there.

With Jackson set to become a free agent after the conclusion of the season, the Cincinnati Bengals would likely love to get something in return for him if they can.

This season, Jackson’s recorded 22 tackles (19 solo) with an interception and four pass deflections.

The 28-year old Jackson may not be seen as much of an improvement to the secondary in Detroit, but he might be able to be acquired for cheap.

The only thing is will the Lions be willing to take a good portion of his salary cap hit, which was just under $10 million for this season.
