During his four-year stint as the Lions general manager, Bob Quinn has spent two first-round selections on the offensive line.

And considering the fact veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford missed eight games this season with a back/hip injury, the offensive line figures to be addressed high once again in an effort to protect the franchise passer.

Guard Graham Glasgow started 15 games this season and is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Career backup Joe Dahl started in 13 games for Detroit this year after having only started a total of only four contests over the past three seasons.

The Lions have a clear need at guard. And in this mock, Quinn and company take advantage of having a high second-round selection to catch a falling lineman in Oregon’s Shane Lemieux. The 6-foot-4, 317-pound offensive guard prospect appears to be a plug-n-play starter as a potential first-rounder that Detroit can start Day One.
