Preview – The Eagles Offense

As for the offensive side of the ball for the Eagles, I’m going to say that Detroit must be sure to account for wide receiver Nelson Algholor and two-time Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz. Ertz is one of the best tight ends in the entire NFL.

As far as Algholor goes, he just registered a terrific game against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend with fellow wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery sidelined with injuries.

Zach Ertz is going to challenge the Detroit Lions linebackers plenty on Sunday. He has good size and speed to go with his great hands and nose for the ball.

Ertz will have his moments in this game, but Detroit really needs to put a limit on it. 2019 will be the young tight ends fifth-year in the league and he has made the Pro Bowl twice. Not much needs to be said here. The guy is a weapon and can dismantle any hopes of a win for the Lions if they aren’t careful.

Nelson Algholor had a fantastic game last weekend with eight receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown against the Falcons. He will have another chance to showcase his skills on Sunday as DeSean Jackson is expected to be out.

Alshon Jefferey is likely to miss the game due to injury as well. Algholor will potentially find himself in the number one wide receiver role against the Lions and will be looking to build upon his last outing.
