With the 21st overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select…

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Defensive End. 36. Michigan. Rashan Gary. 21. player

After trading away defensive end Frank Clark for a haul including a first and second round pick, the Seahawks get his replacement with their first pick this year. Gary has all the athletic traits, but none of the production teams want to see. Many believe that the Michigan scheme held him back from his potential and that he was too often double teamed to take him out of the equation.

Seattle is the perfect team for Gary to land. They love his type of pass rushers and will be very quick to submit this pick if he is still on the board. Gary fits the mold they look for in pass rushers; guys that have great athletic traits and can fly after the quarterback and win with their athletic profiles. Gary would get the coaching he needs and I fully believe that the coaching staff in Seattle will be able tap into his unused potential.
