HaHa Clinton-Dix

Clinton-Dix was traded to the Washington Redskins midseason from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a fourth round pick. Clinton-Dix will be looking to get paid this offseason and he deserves it. The Lions could look into signing him as they have quite a bit of cap space at the moment (~40 million, could increase).

The Lions could sign him and have him start at free safety, where he earned a grade of 79.3 from PFF this last season. This past season he racked up 93 total tackles (including one sack), two forced fumbles, six passes defenses, and three interceptions. Adding Clinton-Dix to the roster would give the Lions an overall elite safety room consisting of Clinton-Dix, Diggs, and Walker while providing them a deadly three safety set.

*The spotrac.com website is currently projecting him to sign a five-year, $49,500,476 contract at an average of $9.9 million annually.*
