Detroit Lions: 7-Round 2019 Mock Draft 2.0
Round Seven Pick 10- Danny Wise, Defensive Tackle, Kansas
Detroit has a solid defensive line that consists of Damon Harrison, A’Shawn Robinson, and Da’Shawn Hand. This line could challenge to be the best in the league next year. However, it never hurts to have quality depth, especially along the defensive line.
Wise is playing in the 2019 East-West Shrine Game and, according to various draft experts, has been tearing up the competition.
He is consistently in the backfield and running over and past the offensive lineman and has been described as the best defensive lineman there and one of the best players overall. Wise is worth the seventh round pick here as the Lions get a quality rotational defensive tackle.

Round Seven, Pick 20-Mike Bell, Safety, Fresno State
Bell is a standout safety for Fresno State. He played a big part in their defense as the free safety for them. His coverage skills are a plus and he earned Second-Team All-Mountain West honors this year.
Bell made 86 tackles, three for a loss, had three interceptions, and eight pass breakups. As a late seventh round pick he would have a tough road to making the final roster. However, he could stick as a reserve safety; especially if Glover Quin isn’t back with the Lions next year.
