#5. Charles Clay, TE – Buffalo Bills

Age: 29
Height/Weight: 6-3, 255
Years in NFL: 8
2018 Salary: $9 million (2019 – $9M)
2018 Stats: 21 recs, 184 yards, 0 tds
2019 Status: Under contract, FA in 2020

Analysis: Clay is the oldest option on this list and still under contract through 2019. But if the Lions can swing a trade for him, they’d be getting a reliable receiving threat with a history of success in the NFL. From 2013-2017, Clay average nearly 57 receptions a season! Imagine that kind of production from the tight end position for Stafford considering the receiver issues Detroit had during the second half of the season last year.
