Detroit Lions Round 5

148th Overall

(the higher pick of the Lions (2) Fifth Rounds picks goes to the NY Giants for Harrison, the other is from SF for Laken Tomlinson)

Wide Receiver: Marquise Brown, Hunter Renfrow, Darius Slayton, Tyler Petite

Backup QB: Clayton Thorson, Trace McSorley

D-line/ Edge: Daniel Wise, Corbin Kaufusi

Secondary: Ken Webster

Pick: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma (5-10, 168, 4.36)

We have gotten a glimpse of the Lions air attack without Golden Tate and it was not pretty. Brown is lightning in a bottle and can play in the slot.

A mid-late round pick would make it easy for the Lions to address other needs via free agency.

T.J. Jones, Bruce Ellington, Brandon Powell, Theo Riddick, and possibly Kerryon Johnson are the slot replacement options for Tate until the end of this year.
