Pick: Ben Bredeson, G, Michigan (6-4, 320, 5.28)

The Lions need to get better up front still. The past two games show that up front, they need work. T.J. Lang is one good hit from retirement, which will leave a big hole at guard. Bredeson is an All-B1G player with experience in a pro system. Bredeson can compete from Day 1 to be a starter and Bob Quinn likes trench players from big programs.

The Lions have had big problems running the ball or protecting their quarterback when all of the starters are not healthy. The last couple of games the starters didn’t perform well, either. So, this continues to be an area in need of an upgrade.
