Known more for intercepting passes, he leaves a lot to be desired as a tackler. His niche is better described as a cornerback playing free safety.

Detroit would benefit from more depth at this position. This pick has steal written all over it.

Dominick Sanders, FS

Senior, Georgia

The Lions have a pretty solid secondary, but it never hurts to add more depth. Flipping the field and coming up with the football makes any team better. Interceptions came by the bunches for Dominick Sanders.

Starting all possible games the past four seasons, Sanders finished off his senior year with 40 tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, 4 interceptions and 5 passes batted away.  He was a takeaway machine.
