Rosen in the pocket

2. player. 31. . NEW YORK GIANTS (3-13). . JOSH ROSEN, QB - UCLA

Could I make an argument for Saquon Barkley, or another player? Sure.

By the time they get their second pick, the downgrade between NFL caliber quarterbacks available, will be huge. Rosen hurt himself with selfish comments, but so did Eli Manning, the current passer, prior to the Giants trading for him.

The Giants will offer an ideal situation: a veteran starter who a rookie can learn from, and play behind. You lock up the future while you’re playing your two-time Super Bowl winner.

Also, there will be very good running backs available for much longer. None AS GOOD as Barkley, but a lot less drop off at running back than QB.

The offensive line needs help badly, too, but there’s just no elite, left tackle prospect who is Top 5 worthy.
