Detroit Lions fans, how are you handling being 2-0?

Question Three

While trying not to dwell on what happens this Sunday, ask your friend, “How do you feel about the Lions whole season after seeing them play twice?” Again, which of the two responses is most similar?

I booked my flight to Super Bowl LII, in Minneapolis, on Monday! Unless Stafford spontaneously combusts, we’re going all the way!

“So far Detroit has played two teams that probably aren’t making the playoffs. They may win eight games, but that’s only if this luck keeps up.

Tally your…your friend’s responses

I didn’t hide which responses were the kool-aid drinker’s and which belong to a Same Old Lions fan.

If the first of my responses was your answer, or closest, two of the three times (or more), you may currently be a kool-aid drinker.

By contrast, if two out of the three (or more) of your answers were the second kind of response, you may be a Same Old Lions fan.

My Reaction

To keep this brief, I will have to say that I need more information.

I have seen some good things. Stafford looked like a man in control the whole game. The defense was swarming, got to opponent quarterbacks and caused turnovers. The running game netted more yards than the passing game. The special teams were stellar.

The competition wasn’t the best, though. Both the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants looked less than playoff worthy. The Detroit offensive line has some issues. The defense is missing a leader at a place where the depth is thin.

Next: Is the next Detroit Lions head coach currently on staff?

Can the team handle another team playing well? I guess I may find some answers this Sunday.

What do you think? What are your responses to the questions? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for reading. Go Lions!
