Overall a very athletic group has been added to the Lions offensive line with only Farris measuring out somewhat poorly athletically. From what I have seen this group has a great chance of ousting the current backups and in some cases (RT & C), starters. Not only does this group play well but they are versatile with the majority of them capable and having experience of playing at more than one position on the line which is invaluable for teams during a long season that can be filled with injuries.

Of this group I expect Decker and Glasgow to win starting positions while Joe Dahl and Andrew Zeller make the team as versatile backups. Chase Farris has a lot of work to do to earn a roster spot. Current backups will have to put on impressive displays to ward off the new blood in camp and this only makes things better for the Lions. At a positional group that has been an area of weakness for many seasons, there is finally some real competition for spots which should make whoever makes the team a better player as a result.

What do you think of the newest Lions? Will they be able to protect Stafford and give the Lions a run game?
