I definitely get the draw here. The Lions desperately need to fix up their offensive line and keep Matthew Stafford on his feet. Why not bring in a kid from down the road at Michigan State to be the savior the offensive line? Because your’re pretty much just drafting Riley Reiff 2.0.

If that were not trouble enough, there’s a good chance he won’t even be there as there are other teams like Jacksonville or Chicago that would love to have a new tackle. But if he is there, the Lions should probably take a pass. He’s a fine tackle in the sense that he will get a starting job somewhere. But buyer beware. Conklin’s lack of athleticism, especially against speed rushers will haunt them like Jared Allen haunted Jeff Backus’s dreams for years. Our own Jeff Risdon has the perfect clip to display this.

Yeah not really what you’re looking for. Take a pass on this offensive tackle in the first round. As a matter of fact….
