Judging by the Matt Forte’s stats alone, it’s fair to think that he may be on the decline. At 29 years old, Matt Forte is nearing the age of the fallen running back.
Having said that, Forte can still wreck your teams game plan by being a two-way threat. While running the ball Forte has shown that he can get through the holes and change direction with the best of them. As a receiving threat he’s often able to create space and make guys miss from underneath.
Forte may be aging, but we will see in 2015 if he ages like wine or like past due milk.
