Power Ranking Detroit Lions Opponents: Running Back

Most Vikings fans won’t like where Adrian Peterson falls on this list. He’s definitely one of the greats, but we still have to deal in reality here.

Now that the media circus is over and Peterson has his contract and is able to play football, the very real question has to be Can he still play like we’re used to seeing him play? While he has shown himself to be in phenomenal shape as of late, Adrain Peterson hasn’t touched a football field in a meaningful game since December of 2013. Unless of course you want to count his 75 yard outing against the Rams in week one of 2014.

Can the 30-year-old Peterson still ball like his former self? Is he in the right mind frame after a year away from the game and a public contract dispute? Even if he’s not, he’s still goo enough t be ranked this high.
