Maybe I missed something. How is this guy still on the market? At only 27 years old, Gresham still has plenty left in the tank and the Lions have a need.
I’m still on the side of the fence that doesn’t see Brandon Pettigrew making the 53 man roster. Bringing Gresham in helps everyone from Matthew Stafford to Eric Ebron. The two-time Pro Bowler instantly makes the Lions that much more of a threat on offense. The plus is that his injury history is nearly clean.
I don’t like to play the crazy wanting fan. But this makes too much sense to ignore. The Lions could drop Pettigrew and have themselves a contingency plan if Ebron doesn’t improve.
Next: Joe McKnight?
