Philadelphia Eagles
Chip Kelley and the Eagles have put together what looks to be a dangerous offense in Philly. How it all comes together, is what depends on how this game turns out. There really is no way to tell until the season begins, but this could be a nightmare game for the Eagles, or they could give us a battle. The last time these 2 teams met was in Philly during a snow storm which was probably the most fun game I have seen in my life to watch. It didn’t end well for us, but it was hilarious to see.
With the running attack of Demarco Murray, Darren Sproles, and Ryan Matthews, the run game for them could be quite dangerous. This will require our front 7 to be on full alert at all times for the run. Top that off with wide receivers Jordan Matthews, Riley Cooper, and Miles Austin, our secondary will have to also respect the passing game and cover efficiently.
I think overall, this could be a game that goes either way, a blowout or a close one. But regardless, it should be fun to watch, especially being at Ford Field. There is so much talent on the offense for Philly, it’s hard to imagine this being anything but a close game. It should keep you on the edge of your seats. And, as Detroit Lions fans, that is what we love to see!
