Ryan Broyles

Age: 27

Height: 5-foot-10

Weight: 188

College: Oklahoma

Looking back at 2014 – Some might say Ryan Broyles got the short end of the stick in 2014. It was the first time in his NFL career that he managed to stay healthy for the entire year, but of course, he was rarely on the field.

Looking ahead to 2015 – I would like to hope that Ryan Broyles has a fighting chance at the wide receiver No. 3 spot on the Detroit Lions roster in 2015, because when he’s healthy the guy can play. His durability issues may be his downfall however, as there are obviously still some concerns there from the Lions staff.

TJ Jones

Age: 22

Height: 5-foot-11

Weight: 194

College: Notre Dame

Looking back, and ahead – Simply put, TJ Jones remains a mystery for the Detroit Lions. He never seen the field in 2014, so this year will provide us with our first real look at him.

Does he have a chance to make the team?

Sure.

Does he have a chance to be cut?

Sure.

Time will tell. I look forward to seeing what this kid has at camp.

Lance Moore

Age: 31

Height: 5-foot-9

College: Toledo

Looking back, and ahead- Lance Moore made a name for himself down in New Orleans with Drew Brees and his connection in Detroit — Joe Lombardi. Moore’s best season came in 2012 when he surpassed the 1000-yard mark for the first time in his career. In 2013, he was cut by the Saints, and in 2014 he spent a year in Pittsburgh where he never returned to that 2012 form.

In Detroit, Moore has a great chance at making this team — despite being undersized and overaged. Veteran leadership is a trait that has been all but written off in today’s NFL — at least from the fans perspective. Moore could provide the Lions with some solid depth, leadership and toughness at a very fair price.

Look for Moore to be on this team come August.
