Kellen Moore Takes Second-Team Reps
Local fan-favorite and former Boise State Bronco, Kellen Moore appears to be continuing his development as a Detroit Lions signal caller after taking reps as the No. 2 quarterback on Wednesday.
Moore recently re-signed with the Lions on a two-year deal, as is believed to be the No. 2 quarterback of the future by many. Moore’s lack of size and arm strength is believed to have held him back to this point in his career, but the experience he has gained under Matthew Stafford, Dan Orlovsky and former Lion Shaun Hill has helped elevate his game.
Moore had a strong showing in the 2014 preseason, and will undoubtedly get his chance to shine once again this year when exhibition games begin later this summer.
