If ever there was a player that resembled current Lions’ guard Larry Warford it’s Tomlinson. He admitted as much to the media on Wednsday. Considering Warford’s early success in Detroit, why should the Lions not nab another one for the line and perhaps form bookends? Rob Sims isn’t getting any younger, and Tomlinson’s quick feet and big body could be a huge asset to the team. Tomlinson is also a bright team leader. Detroit’s already interviewed him, so he’s worth watching very close this week.

Drills to watch: 3 cone drill, bench press.
