A nice defensive backfield combo platter, Shaw played both positions in college, and considering Detroit’s pressing need for developing backups at both spots, that could make him a very appealing target as the process wears on. Has a big body and fluid moves, but could lack speed and agility needed for cornerback position. Also has character concerns stemming from a highly-publicized incident last season, but if he falls, the Lions could snatch him up due to his size and raw ability at some point.
Drills to watch: 40 yard dash, shuttle run.
