Obviously, kicking was a struggle for the Lions the better part of 2014. Fortunately, they have a perfect free agent option in-house in Matt Prater to solve that issue. Prater also seems motivated to stay with the Lions. The problem? Price was a major reason Prater was axed in Denver, and with a tightening cap, Detroit might not shell out big money for a kicker either. Considering his up and down 2014 season after joining Detroit, Prater should come at a better value now, but could the team still consider replacing him?
