The ram horn helmet has always been great, and the move from yellow to a truer gold as a secondary color a dozen or so years ago was a good move, but other than that there’s not much here.
It’s like asking your kid how their day at school was. 99% of the time the response is “good”. That’s what this is. It’s “good” because it’s not bad, but I’m not going to sit here and type more words about it or anything.
19. Miami Dolphins

I’m a fan of the new logo the Dolphins introduced last season, as well as the white-on-white helmet. Overall it presents an updated look while maintaining the classic Miami Dolphins style.
They’re not going to be vaulted into the Top 10 or anything, but it’s definitely a solid average design. Teal has become very hard to pull off, but the Dolphins do it well.
18. Houston Texans

I like what the Texans did with their design when they came into the league. It’s nothing revolutionary, but the longhorn / flag of Texas logo is nifty and the color scheme is safe.
There’s not a lot to separate them from the pack, but they’re nothing close to a laughingstock. It’s just solid.
17. New York Jets

I used to have this 1990 Pro Set football card of Rob Moore and I remember thinking as a kid “these uniforms are not great”. I also thought the “J” on the Jets helmet was an “L” because I was like 5 years old.
Anyway, the “new” Jets uniforms that throw back to the 60’s and 70’s design are way better than those 1990’s uniforms, so that is good (because the Lets were terrible).
