Tight End (3)

  • Eric Ebron
  • Brandon Pettigrew
  • Joseph Fauria

There isn’t much of a debate here. The top three have been set for a while now, the only question to be answered is how exactly will Joe Lombardi use these players, and what roles they’ll be given.

Caldwell has already shed some light on how Ebron will be used, and we even saw him lining up as an outside receiver, slot receiver, as well as in the backfield during preseason action.

Pettigrew will likely be used as an in-line blocking tight end who can also catch a few passes when needed, while Fauria will mostly serve as a red zone specialist. Fauria has been under the radar relative to last year, but he’s had an impressive camp so far. His blocking looks much improved, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing his number called more often than it was last year.
