Kyle Van Noy’s Job to Lose?
Rookies are rarely handed starting jobs, even first or second round draft picks. Normally they have to earn it. That may just be what the Lions are trying to do with Kyle Van Noy.
Ashlee Palmer has received the most snaps as the starting strongside linebacker between the two, but Van Noy’s role has been increasing day after day.
So whose job is it to lose at this point?
Van Noy has been having a stronger camp, but Palmer is still clinging to the top of the depth chart for now.
Keep a close eye on who gets the starting nod against the Raiders, and also who receives the most snaps.
