5) Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M

Nov 9, 2013; College Station, TX, USA; Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Mike Evans (13) catches a pass and runs for a 75-yard gain against the Mississippi State Bulldogs during the second half at Kyle Field. Texas A&M won 51-41. Mandatory Credit: Thomas Campbell-USA TODAY Sports

A big wide receiver listed at 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, Evans would allow a lot of the same flexibility in the offense that Ebron would. The New Orleans Saints offense featured Jimmy Graham lined up in the slot often, and if Joe Lombardi truly intends to base his offense off what was done in New Orleans, the Lions front office would be smart to select Evans. He’s certainly not a burner, but he has the size and speed to play that role perfectly in the Lions offense, in addition to lining up on the outside opposite Calvin Johnson.
