Green Bay Packers

Dec 15, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt Flynn (10) reacts to a touchdown with tight end Andrew Quarless (81) in the fourth quarter at AT

Won: Packers 37, Dallas Cowboys 36

The Packers, absolute dead ducks during a winless November, are right back to controlling their own destiny in the playoff hunt, with Aaron Rodgers’ return looming.

Matt Flynn has regained his former magic as Packers backup QB extraordinaire, which raises the question: how can he be so solid in Green Bay, but so awful everywhere else?

The Packers don’t care, because he, along with prohibitive Rookie of the Year favorite Eddie Lacy, have the Packers in position to pull an improbable turnaround late in the season.

Technically, the Bears still lead the division, but the Packers play them in Week 17, so the Packers winning out means the Bears losing at least one. In that case, it doesn’t matter what the Lions do.

Next Game: 12/22 vs. Pittsburgh (6-8)
