Current Record: 9-5
Current NFL Playoffs Position: Out
If they win out:
It’s really too bad the Cardinals play in the NFC West, because they’d be right in the thick of the divisional race anywhere else in the NFC. As it is, they need a lot of help, but it helps that one of the teams they need to try and pass — the 49ers — is still on their schedule.
If they lose out:
The Cardinals’ position is already a tough one. They can’t afford any mistakes. It’s already entirely possible that they miss the playoffs at 11-5. At 9-7, it’s no longer even a question.
