The mantra remains the same: the Lions have the talent to beat any team, any week.

Yet they exhibit enough of a lack of execution and consistency to lose to any team, any week.

They can move the ball through the air, but give up big plays on defense. They play well against the run, but consistently lose the turnover battle. It seems like they have a bad habit of playing well enough to lose a close game.

Against the Eagles, they played dominant football for the most part, but fumbled the ball seven times and gave up 28 points in the fourth quarter. They’re still in the playoffs if they win their last three, but with the way they play, they could just as easily lose all three games. You just can’t tell from one week to the next.

Next Game: 12/16 (Monday)  vs. Baltimore (7-6)
