Biggest Surprise – DeAndre Levy (14 points)

Coming off a season where he recorded 82 tackles and one interception, many Lions fans disapproved when Martin Mayhew and company re-signed Levy and let Justin Durant walk in free agency. So far, Levy has more than affirmed Mayhew’s decision to bring him back on a new deal.

Honorable Mentions – Joseph Fauria (9 points), Dominic Raiola (8 points)

Others receiving votes – Larry Warford (5 points), LaAdrian Waddle (4 points), Calvin Johnson (3 points), Louis Delmas (2 points), Reggie Bush (2 points), Kris Durham (2 points), Riley Reiff (2 points), Joique Bell (1 point), Rashean Mathis (1 point)
