Defensive Players of the Year – Ndamukong Suh (24 points)

Ndamukong Suh has established himself as one of the premier defensive tackles (and perhaps defensive players, period) in the NFL. While his stats don’t necessarily show up on paper (3.5 sacks and 3 tackles for loss), his impact on a game is unquestioned. He commands double teams on every play, allowing his teammates to find favorable match-ups and make plays.

Honorable Mention – DeAndre Levy (17 points)

Others receiving votes – Glover Quin (4 points), Nick Fairley (4 points), Louis Delmas (3 points), Chris Houston (1 point), Stephen Tulloch (1 point)
