Trade
Lions Receive: CB Jourdan Lewis, 2023 7th-round pick
Cowboys Receive: 2023 6th-round pick

In this deal, the Cowboys decide they want to keep Anthony Brown as their starter opposite of Trevon Diggs and thus get some value back for Jourdan Lewis.

Lewis has been solid in his time in Dallas and doesn’t carry a huge cap hit but,  but getting a sixth-round pick in exchange while attaching a seventh-round pick to Lewis might be viable. It would clear up some cap space this year and next for a team that’s slowly becoming one of the more expensive teams in the league.

For the Lions, they would get a cornerback who can provide a steady presence for them as they hope for healthy season from Jeff Okudah after injuries have derailed his first two seasons and as he works his way back fronm Achilles injury. They need a corner that can line up opposite of Amani Oruwariye. And with how the recent play has been for Detroit at cornerback, they could use all the help they could get. Lewis is a high-floor corner who can provide veteran stability.
