Kevin Jarvis, OG, Michigan State

Another undrafted name to watch in any competition for spots on the Lions offensive line will be Jarvis. A starter for the Spartans from the get-go his freshman year, Jarvis played multiple positions along the offensive line with starts at right guard and both of the tackle spots. He earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention accolades in 2021 as a fifth-year senior, but he did not appear in any postseason showcase games and was not invited to the NFL Combine.

While he may have been overlooked by the broader NFL scouting community, the Lions appear happy to add him to the ranks for the 2022 offseason program. Jarvis reportedly signed for $155,000 guaranteed. His size and positional versatility make him another intriguing candidate for a reserve lineman spot, especially since he could play four spots on the line (aside from center).

NFL Draft Buzz’s scouting profile noted Jarvis is a “solid positional run blocker who flashes the nasty demeanor and killer instinct scouts covet”, albeit while showing bouts of undiscplined play.

Jarvis makes for an interesting developmental prospect, with a local connection. His size and positional versatility make him another intriguing candidate for a reserve lineman spot, especially since he could play four spots on the line (aside from center).
