1. WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

What more is there to say about St. Brown? Over the last six games of his rookie season, the 2021 fourth-round pick out of USC had 51 catches for 560 yards and five touchdowns with double-digit targets in all six contests. Along the way, he surpassed and set plenty of rookie records in Lions and NFL history for a season or a run of consecutive games.

But getting down to it, St. Brown started his rookie season slowly as the Lions’ offense really struggled to get anything going. The promise to get him more involved coming out of the Week 9 bye obviously came to fruition, and that was surely a factor in Detroit’s offense looking better down the stretch. Beyond his pass-catching prowess, he got some touches out of the backfield in a fashion that invited a comparison to Deebo Samuel.

Next season, St. Brown will have to share targets with a healthy T.J. Hockenson and D’Andre Swift in a way he didn’t have to during his star-making turn late this season. But he proved to be draft find, as some suspected he would be, and the future is very bright as he carries a chip on his shoulder for how long he waited to be drafted.
