Purdue. Rondale Moore. 41. 50. Pick Analysis. WR. player. Scouting Report

Slot receiver Rondale Moore is my draft crush. My infatuation with him started in film study, especially against Ohio State. Run after the catch, route running, cuts, and speed make him a “video game” type of player.

Unfortunately, he’s far from the perfect prospect. His catch radius will never be there at his size. I would have also liked to see him used as a deep threat more often. Of course, we have the concern of the knee injury back in 2019. Not to mention he’s only played seven games in the past two seasons.

What worries me the most is his fit with the Detroit Lions as they currently stand. I believe Moore is the type of player who could be great with an accurate quarterback. I’m not sure if quarterback Jared Goff can help Moore.

Despite that, I’d be the GM who’d be willing to take a chance on him because I know he can make teams pay for playing deep in coverage. Opening things up for tight end T.J. Hockenson and outside wide receivers over the middle.
