Trade Scenario #5 – Lions Stand Pat Rest of the Way

Out of all five, the only trade deadline scenario we haven’t gone over is the Lions doing nothing. Standing pat is right behind “buying small” in realistic possibilities.

Detroit, sitting at 3-3, could ride out the season with who they have after bringing in Griffin.

Patricia and his coaching staff have shown a lot of changes on the defensive side of the ball and could have confidence in that. Only time will tell at this point.

The Unthinkable

Matthew Stafford isn’t getting traded. Hate to break the hearts for some of you reading this, but it’s logically impossible. Detroit fought their way back to .500 and there is a chance at playoffs. This regime is here for a little while longer and Stafford’s their meal ticket.

What do you think?
