Lions at Dolphins: Final injury report revealed
The Detroit Lions will be without one of their best offensive players when they face the Miami Dolphins this Sunday in their Week Seven matchup.
The Detroit Lions are coming off their bye week following a strong victory over the NFC North divisional rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in Week Five. Now, they’ll head to Miami to face a surging 4-2 Dolphins team with backup quarterback Brock Osweiler under center.
For Detroit, they will be without a key offensive weapon in running back Theo Riddick. A receiving threat out of the backfield, Riddick suffered a knee injury that didn’t allow him to practice at all this week and he has been officially ruled out for the game in Florida. So far this season, he’s posted 23 catches for 138 receiving yards.
For the Dolphins, they have three players already officially sidelined for the upcoming matchup against the Lions. The biggest name being passer Ryan Tannehill. The starting quarterback missed Miami’s Week Six game against the Chicago Bears due to a shoulder injury. Tannehill was limited in practice all week and has now been ruled out against Detroit.
In Tannehill’s place, Osweiler led the Dolphins to a 31-28 overtime victory over the Chicago Bears last week. The backup quarterback completed 28 of his 44 passes for 380 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in that game.
Also ruled out for the Dolphins are defensive ends Jonathan Woodard (concussion) and 2017 first round selection Charles Harris (calf).

Rounding out the questionables for the Lions are defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), right guard T.J. Lang (concussion), and tight end Michael Roberts (knee). Ansah was limited in practice all week, while both Lang and Roberts were full participants the past two days after being limited on Wednesday.
