Detroit Lions: Remember that time Ndamukong Suh kicked an extra point?
Aftermath
Neither Jason Hanson nor Matthew Stafford was able to play again in the 2010 season.
The Lions dropped to 2-6, and then lost another four in a row before improbably ending the year with four straight wins.
The careers of Stafford and Mark Sanchez have gone in opposite directions from what they started. Stafford was often injured throughout his first two years and hasn’t missed a game since.
“The Sanchise” got some lucky playoff wins in his first two years and now is fighting just for a roster spot in Chicago.
Suh’s only career touchdown (a fumble recovery against Washington) and only career extra point attempt happened with seven days of each other.
He’s gone on to have numerous other controversial kicks in his career (Evan Dietrich-Smith, Matt Schaub, Aaron Rodgers), but this was the only one involving a football.

My final question in regards to Ndamukong Suh’s kick: if the 33-yard extra point rule was in effect in 2010, would Jim Schwartz still have sent him out to attempt it? I want to say no, but I also want to say yes.
