I did a radio spot with my pals over at ESPN 96.1 recently. One of the things we talked about was the Just Say No series. They gave me the perfect quote to think about. If the guy doesn’t have a job, there’s a reason for that.

With Brandon Carr we know why, he’s not very good. Per Pro Football Focus, Carr is the 70th best corner in the league out of 119. Maybe that’s not that bad. But for a team that needs a veteran corner opposite Darius Slay, Carr just doesn’t fit the bill. Not to mention that Carr is really expensive. Still I wouldn’t rule it completely out. The Flint native may want to come home and play for the Lions. For super cheap, the Lions may oblige.
