Andre Johnson

Interestingly enough, Andre Johnson was a part of last years Just Say No series. Even more interesting is that he was part of the fourth installment then too.

It’s a different year but the story is still the same. Andre is old. He’ll turn 35 in July and as I’ve mentioned before, signing a guy that is older than the receiver you think is about to retire is not smart. I’ll be honest, Johnson’s cut hasn’t really even happened yet. It’s a rumor as I write this. Rest assure it will happen today and I just wanted to make sure that I’m ahead of the curve on this one.

Despite being a seven time Pro Bowler, Johnson has clearly declined as any player who is pushing 35 will. I’d be more concerned about Andre Johnson retiring than I would Calvin retiring at this point.
