Start Em’

Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons

Opponent: Philadelphia Eagles

Let me start out by saying this, if you’re new from last season — welcome! Also, I tend to not list the obvious starts, (Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck in this case). With that said, Matt Ryan is a guy that may not be a lock to start every week in 2015, (at least not yet) but is in a new system, with a new coach and offensive coordinator who’s playbook will go perfectly with Ryan’s skill set.

Furthermore, the Falcons week one opponents? The Philadelphia Eagles.

Last season, the Eagles tied for the second-most points allowed to opposing QB’s, while Ryan on the other hand ranked as the seventh-highest fantasy scorer.

I look for OC Kyle Shanahan to start dialing up some big plays to his play makers, Julio Jones and Roddy White, fairly quickly. Throw in the setting of Monday Night football on ABC and Ryan is a week one start that you cannot pass on!
