Detroit might like more depth at defensive tackle even after nabbing Haloti Ngata and signing Tyrunn Walker. Enter Rubin, who is an excellent run stuffer. At age 27, he could have some of his best football ahead of him. Signing a player like Rubin could allow the Lions to focus on other needs early in the draft and put off selecting an unproven defensive tackle at any point during the first few rounds.
